However, there are two elements in the player's favour: firstly that the game gives you a rough map location to search in, narrowing it down immensely, and secondly that what you're looking for - a white sheet of paper - is not that hard to find, usually displayed with some prominence and certainly not hidden.

Remember however that if at any point you quit the game, you'll have to restart it from the beginning. You'll receive a mysterious email in your phone from showing a black and white photograph and the words "Use the photograph in this email to identify the location of the treasure." There's no name attached, but I guess Dutch is sending us on fetch quests from beyond the grave…? Whatever the case, simply opening the email and checking the picture should start this little side mission.
